The Department of Health does not hold data on the proportion of children eligible to receive Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccination. The NHS Information Centre publishes annually data on the number of BCG vaccinations administered nationally by age. These data show that in 2010-11, about 153,000 children aged under one year received the BCG vaccination. The data is published in the NHS Information Centre report, 'NHS Immunisation Statistics England 2010-11', with the data source given as the KC50.A copy has been placed in the Library.
