- To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what discussions his Department has had with Telford and Wrekin council and Shropshire council on the sharing of back-office services.

The Department has held no discussions with Telford and Wrekin council and Shropshire on the sharing of back-office services. In relation to procurement expenditure in 2010-11 for each local authority in England, I refer my hon. Friend to my answer of 23 February 2012, Official Report, columns 892-93W.
