Work Experience Programme
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many people came off benefits and entered into work as a result of the work experience programme in each month since January 2011.

Between January 2011 and the end of November 2011 (the latest date for which figures are available) 34,200 claimants undertook a work experience placement. Analysis published on 9 November 2011 showed that 51% of those who started on the programme in January to March 2011 were not in receipt of benefit 13 weeks later.
