- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills pursuant to the answer of 10 October 2011, Official Report, column 275W, on lighters: safety, what assessment he has made of the implementation by local authorities of Commission Decision 2006/502/EC on child-resistant lighters; and if he will publish any such assessment.

No assessment has been made of the implementation of Commission Decision 2006/502/EC in the UK. This is not a legal requirement for member states.
