- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Education how many students taking GCSE science subjects in Gillingham and Rainham constituency achieved a pass rate of A* to C; and how many such students continued to study science subjects at A-Level in the most recent period for which figures are available.

Estimates of the number of pupils in Gillingham and Rainham constituency entering and achieving A*-C grades in science subjects, for the cohort who completed key stage 4 in 2007/08, are shown in Table 1. The number and proportion of these who went on to enter science AS levels by 2008/09, and science A-levels by 2009/10, are shown in Tables 2 and 3 respectively.
