Dogs

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what recent discussions she has had with canine welfare charities on responsible dog ownership; and if she will make a statement.
Answer

The Government are close to finalising a package of measures to tackle irresponsible dog owners. In putting this package together, both Ministers and officials have had several discussions with canine welfare charities.
