Electronic Training Aids

- To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for North East Derbyshire of 15 November 2011, Official Report, column 731W, on electronic training aids, when the research will be published; and when decisions will be made on whether to bring forward legislative proposals relating to such devices.

The results of the research into the effects of electronic training collars is currently being peer reviewed and will be available later this year. No decisions will be taken until the peer review process has been completed or before any proposals are consulted upon.
