Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport what plans he has to merge Sport Scotland, Sport Wales and Sport Northern Ireland with UK Sport and Sport England; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

The Scottish and Welsh Governments, and the Northern Ireland Executive are responsible for the Sports Councils for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively. As such, we have no plans to merge them with UK Sport and Sport England.
