Proceeding contribution from Lord Young of Cookham (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 1 March 2012. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.
Business of the House
I understand my hon. Friend's concern. He raised this matter on a point of order on Monday. I have in front of me your response, Mr Speaker, which I will not read out because it would take longer than you like me to take at the Dispatch Box, but I will—[Laughter.] It is quite a long statement. I reiterate your advice, Mr Speaker, that if my hon. Friend wants to take the matter further, he should pursue it with the Finance and Services Committee.
