Administration of Justice: Secrecy
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Justice with reference to Appendix J, paragraph 11 of the Justice and Security Green Paper, in how many of the cases referred to he estimates the Government will be unable to defend itself because sensitive information is central to its defence.
- Answer
-
As indicated in the Justice and Security Green Paper, Appendix J, sensitive information could be central to these cases. It follows therefore that there will be a detrimental effect on Government's ability to defend themselves effectively in all of them.
