Disability Living Allowance

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many decisions have been made by his Department to end disability living allowance in respect of children in (a) each of the last five years and (b) 2012 to date; and in what proportion of such cases an appeal was made in respect of the decision in each such year.

Answer: The Department does collate information relating to decision outcomes on disability living allowance claims but currently cannot provide this information in respect of children. Published information on disability living allowance decision outcomes and appeals can be found on the following link.
