- To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many plasma screen televisions his Department purchased in each of the last two years; and what the cost was of purchasing and installing such televisions in each such year.

The Department has purchased and installed five flat screen (plasma and liquid crystal display) televisions in the last two years, (2010-11 and 2011-12), costing a total of £2,002.00, with a further one on order. All of these were purchased due to the impending digital switchover in London.
