Students: Loans
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how his Department tracks non-completion rates at private higher education institutions whose students are eligible to receive student loans.
- Answer
-
The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills does not hold the data requested on non-completion rates in private higher education institutions of students who are eligible to receive student loan funding. The Higher Education White Paper of June 2011 and the subsequent Technical Consultation stated that in future we intend to ensure that all higher education providers whose students access student support funding are required to provide sufficient and proportionate information to students and the public.
