- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment she has commissioned from external experts on the technical viability of the Communications Capabilities Development Programme.

[holding answer 25 April 2012]: The technical capabilities required for the Communications Capabilities Development programme have been selected on the basis of proven technology. Technical viability is kept under review through periodic external assurance reviews and by consulting with industry, suppliers and other Government Departments.
