Schizophrenia: Prisoners
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimate his Department has made of the number of suicides related to schizophrenia amongst (a) prisoners and (b) people released from prison in the last five years.
- Answer

In the last five years 15 people in prison have committed suicide where there was a primary diagnosis of schizophrenia or other delusional disorder.Similar information is not available for people after they leave prison.
