- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how much his Department spent on procurement from small and medium-sized enterprises in the fourth quarter of 2010-11.

In 2010-11 the Department only collected annual SME procurement data and from an annual procurement total of £253.6 million procurement with SMEs totalled £48.2 million. Quarterly figures for 2010-11 can be provided only at disproportionate cost.Routine reporting on quarterly SME procurement data commenced in 2011-12 and is published on the Department's website at"http://www.bis.gov.uk/QDS"
