- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (1) what savings will accrue to the public purse from the abolition of savings credit for new pensioners in each fiscal year from 2015-16 to 2019-20;

As announced by the Chancellor in his Budget, I can confirm that we will bring forward further detail on the reform of the state pension in a White Paper to be published later in the spring, along with a full impact assessment as part of the normal process. Final decisions on the detailed implementation of the policy will be made at the next spending review.
