How many persons, currently in English prisons, are serving sentences for convictions based solely on confessions, not corroborated, obtained by police officers whose evidence is now regarded as suspect; & if HMGovt can estimate how many more appeals against such convictions will be presented in Court of Appeal. - Inc fact that information requested is not available.
