- What consideration was given to seeking an order to restrain former Chief Superintendent George Reade from going to Australia prior to the hearing of the appeal of the six men convicted of the Birmingham pub bombings; when he was first made aware that Mr Reade was proposing to travel to Australia; & what undertaking he sought as regards Mr Reade's availability for inquiries relating to the appeal of the six men convicted of the Birmingham pub bombings. - Will write after the appeal has been determined.
