If he will list in the Official Report the number of people who were sentenced to youth custody in 1988, 1989 and 1990; and how many (a) came from a one-parent family, (b) came from a home where there had been a marriage break up, or (c) had no parents. - Includes figures & fact that this information published annually in volumes 1 & 2 of "Criminal Statistics, England & Wales, Suypplementary Tables", (copies in Library). Information is not collected centrally on family background of these offenders.
