What is practice of public bodies for which Home Sec is responsible, other than Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, with regard to issuing to complainants, with an acknowledgement of their complaint, a printed card telling them not to write or phone to check on progress of their complaint since this will slow its progress. - (Holding answer 22 July 1988).
