Question: What assessment he has made of the reasons for the fall in applications for new licences and animal test certificates in 1990; to estimate average cost & length of time required by veterinary medicine companies in preparing data on safety & quality for submission of an application for new products; to outline date required to be submitted; to assess effect of cost of licensing veterinary medicine products on amount of research undertaken. - Will write & copy of letter will be placed in Library & PIO.
