- When he received the dossier from Channel 4's Dispatches programme; and if his officials are conducting an investigation into the allegations that a local veterinary inspector failed properly to inspect calves being exported through Dover; if (a) Mr Jonathan Stirling is and (b) other veterinarians working on his behalf are still acting as local veterinary inspectors in connection with the export of live farm animals (holding answer 9 February 1996).
