Mrs. Anne Campbell: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales which former public sector research establishments in his Department have been privatised since 1979; and which public sector research establishments in his Department are currently undergoing reviews with a view to placing them in the private sector.[21950] Mr. Hague: No former public sector research establishments in my Department have been privatised since 1979. The research and development activities of ADAS, an executive agency owned jointly by MAFF and the Welsh Office, are currently undergoing a prior options review to determine their future status.
