Answer: Mr. McAllion: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the remit given to Mr. Lawrence Peterken, special projects director of the Common Services Agency, by chief executives of NHS trusts in Lothian in relation to their patient transport service.[26027] Lord James Douglas-Hamilton: The Chief Executives of NHS trusts in Lothian have asked Mr. Peterken to examine the current arrangements for the provision of the non-emergency patient transport service and to report.
