Mr. Heppell: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the (a) locations and (b) seal species from which the skins which were exported from the United Kingdom in 1994 and during the first nine months of 1885 came.[26446] Mr. Clappison: Between 1 January 1994 and 30 September 1995 permits were issued for the re-export of skins of the Afro-Australian fur seal, Arctocephalus pusillus, originally imported from Namibia; and the South American fur seal, Arctocephalus australis, originally imported from Uruguay.
