Question
If she will list (a) by LEA and (b) in total, broken down in each case by gender, the number and percentage of 16 year olds who left school with no formal qualifications in each of the last five years. - Inc table.
Answer

Mr. Blunkett: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if she will list (a) by local education authority and (b) in total, broken down in each case by gender, the number and percentage of 16-year-olds who left school with no formal qualifications in each of the last five years.[29639] Mr. Paice: Information on school leavers is no longer collected by the Department. The table lists the number and percentage of 15-year-old--age at the beginning of the academic year--pupils who achieved no GCSE qualifications in each local education authority in England for 1991-92 to 1994-95.
