Mr. Wareing: To ask the Chairman of the Accommodation and Works Committee what is the estimated cost of building and decorating work carried out to the Palace of Westminster during the summer recess. [595] Sir Raymond Powell: About £17 million worth of work was carried out on the parliamentary estate during the summer recess.
