Mr. Kaufman: To ask the Chairman of the Accommodation and Works Committee if he will set out the costs of the reconstruction, refurbishment and re-equipment of the House of Commons Tea Room. [4374] Sir Raymond Powell: The cost of the new serveries in the Tea Room was £85,000. The refurbishment was carried out in conjunction with the construction of the new Terrace Cafeteria kitchen which also serves the Tea Room and it is not possible to allocate the costs of the various elements of the project meaningfully between the two areas.
