Question: What consultations he has had with the Chairman of the Welsh Development Agency concerning grant-in-aid and agency funding for a Eurofreight terminal at (a) Wentlooge Levels and (b) Pengan Moors.

Answer: Mr. Morgan: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Welsh Development Agency concerning grant in aid and agency funding for a Eurofreight terminal at (a) Wentlooge Levels and (b) Pengan Moors. [5006] Mr. Hague: My officials have corresponded with the Agency about possible funding for a Eurofreight terminal in south Wales. The agency is aware it will need my approval before incurring expenditure on a scheme for a European freight terminal.
