Mr. Hawksley: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when the legislation will be implemented in respect of disabled facility grants for local authorities. [4748] Mr. Clappison: Part I of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, which includes the provisions on disabled facilities grants, will come into force on 17 December 1996.
