Mr. Bayley: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will name the jobcentres within the York travel-to-work area; and if he will list the number of people in (a) full-time and (b) part-time employment in the York travel-to-work area (i) in April 1992 and (ii) currently. Letter from Tim Holt to Mr Hugh Bayley, dated 17 December 1996: The Chancellor of the Exchequer has asked me to reply as the Director of the Office for National Statistic to your recent question on jobcentres and the number of people in full-time and part-time employment in the York travel-to-work area. There are to jobcentres in the York travel-to-work area. They are Clifford Street and Stonebow. The available information showing the levels of employment in the York travel-to-work area is for employees and is at September 1991 and September 1993. This is shown in the table below.
