Mr. Deva: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many local education authorities increased the amount spent on administration and reduced the amount spent on schools in the last year for which information is available. [7084] Mr. Robin Squire: In 1994-95, 14 LEAs increased spending on central administration while reducing spending on schools, by comparison with the previous year.
