Question: How many incidents involving climbers and hill walkers requiring assistance of rescue services have taken place since 1 October 1993; in how many cases have persons died as result of any such incidents; what costs have been incurred to date for use and time of civil and service personnel and resources, including helicopters and ambulance services, in rescue operations; what are comparative figures for England and Wales for same period in similar acitivities; and how many deaths have occurred on hills and mountains in England and Wales since 1 October 1993. - Inc figures except costs.
