- Whether HMG are satisfied that the new system for levying duty on beer is fiscally neutral; & what representations they received from the Brewers' Society that the new system for levying duty on beer was not fiscally neutral, & what were the dates & form of such representation; what is their response to these representations and whether the Brewer's Society has made representations regarding the need for brewers to raise the prices & weaken the strength of beers to satisfy the requirements of the new tax system.
