If she will comment about the provision of sports grounds in England. - Including figures and ref to the policy document, "Sport: Raising the Game". (Failed OPQ).
Answer

Mr. Booth:: To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage if she will make a statement about the provision of sports grounds in England. [16696] Mr. Sproat: The policy document, "Sport: Raising the Game," made clear our commitment to ensure that the best possible sporting facilities are in place to enable sportsmen and sportswomen to reach their full potential, and to develop sport at its grassroots level. The national lottery is already making a significant contribution supporting more than 2,500 projects totalling some £440 million to date.
