- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer to the honourable Member for Weston-Super-Mare of 10th December, Official Report, Column 596, on the DTI/FCO Export Forum, if he will comment on his plans to help United Kingdom companies export their goods abroad.

Mr. Faber: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer to the hon. Member for Weston-super-Mare (Mr. Cotter) of 10 December, Official Report, column 596, on the DTI/FCO Export Forum, if he will make a statement on his plans to help United Kingdom companies export their goods abroad. [21293] Mr. Fatchett: This Department will continue to give the highest importance to helping British business perform to its full potential in overseas markets. Our response to some Export Forum recommendations will need to await the completion of the DTI/FCO Comprehensive Spending Review.
