Question

Answer

Mr. Rowe: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what representations he has received on the need for the second Swale crossing; and if he will make a statement. [20352] Ms Glenda Jackson: We have received a considerable number of representations on the need for the second Swale crossing, which would be provided by the A249 Iwade-Queensborough Improvement scheme. Most of the representations express strong support for the scheme. We are currently considering all representations as part of the Roads Review consultation.
