Answer: Mr. Hill: To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department when he expects to publish the study undertaken by the court service to analyse the economic cost of activities relating to existing charging points. [18171] Mr. Hoon: The question concerns a matter which has been assigned to the Court Service under the terms of its framework document. I have therefore asked the Chief Executive to write to the hon. Member. Letter from M. D. Huebner to Mr. Keith Hill, dated 28 November 1997: The Parliamentary Secretary has asked me to reply to your Question about the publication of a study of the economic cost of activities relating to existing charging points. The Court Service has not yet made such a study. However, we will undertake an analysis of the economic costs of charging points as part of the revision of the fees structure for the civil courts, which will be necessary in the context of the implementation of the civil justice reforms in April 1999.
