Mr. Ben Chapman: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the value of British exports to China in each of the last five years. [21211] Mr. Hanley: The value of British merchandise exports to China in each of the last five years was: 1996: £738.5 million 1995: £824.4 million 1994: £844.9 million 1993: £739.5 million 1992: £429.9 million.
