If he will initiate early discussions with Barnet District Health Authority and the Wellhouse Trust, to co-ordinate and monitor the provision of comprehensive new casualty facilities at Edgware General Hospital, along the lines agreed in his discussions with the honourable Members for Hendon North and Harrow East. - Health authority have agreed arrangements to assess the service being provided, along the lines indicated in the letter Secretary of State wrote on 20 January 1997.

Mr. Dykes: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will initiate early discussions with Barnet district health authority and the Wellhouse Trust, to co-ordinate and monitor the provision of comprehensive new casualty facilities at Edgware general hospital, along the lines agreed in his discussions with the hon. Members for Hendon, North (Sir J. Gorst) and Harrow, East.
