Mr. Ingram: To ask the President of the Board of Trade what funds are currently held by the Patent Office European patents special reserve fund; and if he will make a statement. [21134] Mr. Taylor: The Patent Office 1995-96 annual report and accounts, laid before the House in July 1996, showed the European patents special reserve fund at 31 March 1996 to be £21.4 million. The Patent Office's 1996 corporate plan, placed in the Library of the House in April 1996 gives further details.
