How many establishments licensed to carry out procedures under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1968 were granted exemptions under Article 10(3) to allow the use of non-purpose bred dogs in 1995. - One establishment was granted permission to use non-purpose bred dogs.

Mr. Banks: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many establishments licensed to carry out procedures under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1968 were granted exemptions under article 10(3) to allow the use of non-purpose bred dogs in 1995. [20662] Mr. Sackville: One establishment was granted permission to use non-purpose bred dogs.
