Sir Robert Hicks: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what was the total sum made available for each schools renewal challenge fund round to date; and if she will list those projects successful in each round and the sums allocated to them. [19035] Mrs. Gillan: The total allocated in the first tranche of the schools renewal challenge fund was £29.5 million with a further £15.117 million in the second tranche. Details of individual allocations are in our press notices of 23 July 1996 and 5 February 1997, which are in the Library.
