Question
When Scottish Homes expects to proceed with the ballot of its remaining tenants within the Cunninghame South constituency in order to find a new landlord.
Answer

Mr. Donohoe: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when Scottish Homes expects to proceed with the ballot of its remaining tenants within the Cunninghame, South constituency in order to find a new landlord. [19397] Mr. Robertson: I am advised that Scottish Homes intends to seek outline proposals from alternative landlords interested in the transfer of Scottish Homes; stock in the Irvine and Kilwinning areas during the second half of 1997. On this basis, the ballot might take place in early 1999.
