Mr. Michael Brown: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what assessment the Office for Standards in Education has made of the quality of education delivered by the former Humberside county council, relative to the national average. [17045] Mr. Robin Squire: This is primarily a matter for Her Majesty's chief inspector of schools. However, I understand that the former Humberside county council was not among the authorities which have been reviewed by Ofsted, and it has not therefore made any assessment of this kind.
