Mr. Spellar: To ask the Chairman of the Accommodation and Works Committee, pursuant to his answer to the right hon. Member for Jarrow (Mr. Dixon) of 3 February, Official Report, columns 458-59, on the new parliamentary building, what estimate he has made of the additional costs arising from the delay. [17197] Sir Raymond Powell: There are too many imponderables at this stage to be able to give a reliable forecast of the costs.
