Further to the answers given by Baroness Jay of Paddington on 3 July 1997, 581 c298-301, whether they intend the reference to "suffering" to include severe distress resulting from a well founded fear by a terminally ill patient that he will die in inhuman and degrading circumstances unless given medication. - Includes ref to 581 c112-3WA.
