- If HMGovt will state the meaning of the word 'atonement' in the recent letter on the subject of Iraq to the 'Independent' from Mr Jeremy Hanley, MP, Minister of State at the Foreign Office; if the concept is recognised in international law; and if it appears in any of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
