Mr. Home Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on his review of the planning guidelines for opencast mining. [49933] Mr. Wilson: The current review of Scottish planning policy for opencast coal will be finalised following the announcement of the conclusions reached on the Review of Energy Sources for Power Generation being carried out by my right hon. Friend, the President of the Board of Trade.
